Josh Carmona, better known as Crisco Kidd, is an Internationally renowned Radio/TV personality, DJ, producer and remixer. As the creator and host of the Crisco Kidd Block Party, since 1999, he has worked with and done work for the likes of Pitbull, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Diplo & Skrillex, Rick Ross, Baby Bash, Ty Dolla $ign, Flo-Rida, Common, and more in music and has been featured or hosted shows on NBC, MTV, MTV Tr3s, BET, FUSE, the CW and a multitude of online platforms.
As an influential voice, tastemaker and award-winning talent since 1999 in Houston, Albuquerque, Dallas, So-Cal, and now in Phoenix, he has helped uplift communities by creating programs and hosting events impacting people of all walks of life via his non-profit, CRISCO’S KIDS.
Brenda Durazo is a seasoned multicultural marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in media, event marketing, and promotions. Her career spans roles in radio, TV, and top advertising agencies, including serving as a brand ambassador for Del Sol Furniture and the in-store voice for Food City.
With a deep love for communities across the Valley, Brenda is committed to empowering children and families by providing resources that create lasting positive change.
Attorney Chris Carmona, managing attorney at The Carmona Firm, PLLC in Houston, Texas, is known for his unwavering commitment to the community. Born in Port Arthur and raised in Liberty and Houston, Chris graduated from Westfield High School before earning a B.A. in International Relations from Marymount Manhattan College in New York and a law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston. With over 24 years of experience in lending and underwriting, Jessica Cortazar is a dedicated professional who brings deep industry knowledge and a strong commitment to service. Her passion extends beyond her career, as she has dedicated more than 15 years to volunteerism, actively serving on HOA boards and supporting local schools like San Tan Elementary and Quartz Hill Elementary through fundraising and volunteer initiatives.
Jessica has been a driving force in youth sports, contributing to local soccer leagues, and has played a key leadership role as Chairperson of NexGen with D.R. Horton. Her commitment to community service is further demonstrated through her involvement with Lions Club
International, where she has successfully led fundraising efforts to support underserved communities.
